Features of 2-tank dehumidifying dryers

With the 2-tank system, the operation rate of IMM increased!

  • Since the dryer has 2 tanks, while the IMM is running, it is possible to prepare for the next molding operation by operating the tank not in use.
  • Cleaning or pre-drying can be started then, which helps increase the operation rate of IMM.

Cost and space for the standby dryer saved!

  • With two tanks, there is no need to have another dryer for pre-drying.
  • Since setup is possible with one unit, cost and space can be saved.

Attachment and detachment time of material hoses dramatically shortened with one-touch coupler!

Helical Hopper Specifications

  • Resin material is separated into "powder" and "material" by the spiral airflow and agitation airflow generated in the hopper.
  • This equipment thoroughly removes dust.

Structure and Principle

While rotating the resin material transported in a fixed quantity in the hopper, the fine powder contained in the resin material is collected from the air suction port at the top of the hopper to the collector side.

At this point, agitation air is sent from the bottom of the hopper, and the resin material is fed back into the hopper by the delivered air and the fine powder adhering to the surface of the resin material is repeatedly removed.

  1. The hopper collects the dust in the material conveying line and keeps the occupying space to the minimum.
  2. The air swirls in the hopper to isolate and collect the pellet dust efficiently.
    (The hopper is also usable for quick mixing of crushed materials.)
  3. Upper filter shape and size are changed. Achieves the best dust collection.

Turn this switch to automatic mode, the material shutters for tanks D1 and D2 are controlled automatically. The material flow becomes smooth. Turn the switch to manual mode for material discharge or cleaning.

The improved separator shortens the time it takes to increase temperature, realizing drying efficiency higher by approx. 10% than our conventional models.

Total Link provides integrated control of settings, startup, and monitoring of peripheral equipment

 

Using HARMO's Traverse, batch setting, startup, and monitoring of peripheral equipment can be performed in a batch.

For example, a take-out robot can be used to set peripheral equipment placed outside the clean room.

There is no need to leave the clean room to change temperatures, etc. This contributes to improving productivity by saving time and preventing human error by reducing the operator's workload.
