Solving problems at molding sites

Productivity improvement

Take-out time is reduced by 62% compared to the air-driven swing type. Productivity is increased by 15%, contributing to improved productivity.

Reduced setup time

The setup process is significantly shortened (from 5 processes to 1 process), which contributes greatly to reduced setup time, especially for customers who use a large number of molding machines.

In case of EX4 type with air drive (setup time: 5 min.)

  1. Climb the molding machine
  2.  Lower the air pressure
  3. Loosen the air stopper
  4. Adjust the position, retighten, and return the air pressure

  5. Climb down from the molding machine.

In case of EXZⅡ type (setup time: 30 seconds)

Servo motors are used for the front/rear vertical axes, allowing adjustment to be completed with a controller at hand.

 

Ensures safety

Operator safety is ensured because adjustments can be made at hand without the operator having to climb on the molding machine.

Possible problems" with conventional air type molding machines

Many risks are associated because workers climb on the molding machine and use tools to adjust the molding machine.

  • Workers slip and fall off the molding machine resulting in injury.
  • Dropping tools and damaging molds
  • Dropping a tool on the crusher and damaging the blade.

In case of EXZ II

Less risk because the operator does not have to go up to the molding machine and can adjust the tool at hand.
